Reliable service, easy upgrades

I've been using OpenVPN's Access Server for a couple of years now for my business. This latest purchase was to add more concurrent connections, and like before, the process was seamless. I appreciate how consistent their service has been over time. The system just works, and I rarely have issues, which is key for keeping operations smooth. I remember my first time setting it up was a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, managing it is pretty simple. It's why I keep coming back.

Good value for basic needs

I tried out the free tier for CloudConnexa to see if it would work for my small team. Setting it up was pretty straightforward, and having those 3 free connections made a big difference for us initially. It's nice to test it out without having to commit money right away. Definitely got good value for what I needed.

Seamless protection, really impressed!

I just got the Remote Access VPN set up for my home office and it's fantastic! The setup guide was super clear, even for someone like me who's not super techy. My connection feels really secure now, and I don't have to worry when I'm accessing files remotely. This has made my work life so much easier. I'm definitely recommending this to all my friends who need a reliable VPN solution!

I saw some stuff about NordLayer being similar. How does OpenVPN compare to NordLayer, performance-wise and features?

M Megan W. 1 month ago
It's a bit different. NordLayer is more of a consumer VPN with some business features tacked on. OpenVPN is designed for businesses from the ground up, so you get way more control and advanced networking options.

OpenVPN is probably more robust for complex business setups. NordLayer is simpler but might lack some of the granular control and integrations you'd need for a bigger team or specific network requirements. For basic stuff, NordLayer is fine, but OpenVPN scales better.

If I get OpenVPN and it's not working out, can I get my money back? Is there a guarantee?

L Lisa Walsh 1 month ago
Yeah, I remember seeing something about a money-back guarantee. You'd have to check the exact terms on their site, but it's usually within the first 30 days or so.

Most software subscriptions like this have a guarantee period, typically 30 days. So if it's not a fit, you should be able to get a refund. Just make sure to read the fine print on their site.

Thinking about OpenVPN for my small business. Is it really secure enough for sensitive stuff, like customer data and all that?

D Daisy 3 weeks ago
Yeah, tons of businesses use it. They're pretty much the standard for this kind of thing, so I wouldn't worry too much about the security side. It's built for that.

My company switched over a couple years ago. We handle a lot of proprietary info, and it's been rock solid. The zero trust stuff is a big plus for preventing internal breaches too, worth looking into that feature.

Can I pay for OpenVPN with PayPal or do they only take credit cards?

A Andre Bennett 1 month ago
I paid with a credit card, pretty sure that's the main way. Not sure about PayPal, you'd have to check their payment options page.

N Neil 1 month ago
I think it's mostly credit card. They're a business service so they stick to the common business payment methods. PayPal is less common for these kinds of subscriptions, from what I've seen.

My organization is a non-profit. Do they offer any special pricing or discounts for non-profits?

F Faith Reyes 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I've heard they do non-profit discounts. You'd probably need to contact their sales team directly with proof of your non-profit status.

A Alex Foster 3 weeks ago
They often have academic and non-profit discounts. It's not usually something you just click a button for though, you'll likely need to reach out to their customer service or sales department to get that sorted out.
